A Startup That Helps You Remember Your Loved Ones
This is a small startup consisting of three people. In addition to my role as a designer, I also performed the functions of a copywriter and internet marketer. After an interview with the founder, it became clear that the project is intended as a SaaS platform for storing information about loved ones with the possibility of using additional paid features.
Young people under 40 years old interested in building family trees. They have usually encountered difficulties in searching for information about their ancestors and want to simplify this process for future generations but have not yet found a convenient and reliable solution.
The founder outlined the key functions of the platform, but there were no detailed tasks. I independently formulated tasks, researched the domain area, designed interfaces, and made design decisions.
The founder had previously defined the main functions of the platform, but it was important for me to gain a deeper understanding of the context and users. I conducted research on the subject area to determine audience expectations and best practices of competitors.
Since I had no initial knowledge of the market, I used Deep Research from Gemini. This allowed me to identify popular services and understand typical user problems.
