1. About the project / domain

This project was developed as part of an academic assignment — to design a conceptual homepage for the city of Kraków.

The glitch aesthetic here is not just layered pixels, but a reflection of a broader cultural phenomenon that emerged with digitalization. Glitch permeates music, visual art, and digital design.

2. Target audience

Young people interested in electronic music, digital art, and unconventional visual aesthetics.

Kraków has a thriving techno scene — clubs like Prozak 2.0, Hype Park, and Szpitalna 1 attract youth from across Poland and Europe.

3. Problem

• Most official city websites are dull, overly formal, and unappealing to younger audiences.
• They lack a visual language that resonates with digital-native generations.
• How can we create a city page that speaks to young users in their own visual and cultural language?

4. Team

This was a solo project.

The assignment was given by a professor: to create a website in glitch style.

All visual and conceptual decisions were made by me.
